Jewelry Care
In order for your handcrafted 14k gold-filled or sterling silver jewels to stay as beautiful as you, love and care is required. Here are 5 easy steps to make them last for years to come!
Avoid Chemicals. Please. It is important to avoid chemicals at all costs! This means chlorine (pools, hot tubs) and cleaning supplies. Of course, the stuff you use on your face and body also count. Put your jewelry on after you apply SPF, skincare, and perfumes.
Shower with your jewelry (if you want!). Clean water is great for keeping your jewelry clean, but please only shower with your jewels if you use mild soaps.
Don’t work out with your jewelry on! Sweat can harm your jewelry pieces. We recommend taking off before any sweaty sessions and when picking up heavy things to prevent scratching.
Deep clean regularly. Use gentle soap or a few drops of dishwashing soap in a bowl of water. Soak for 10 to 15 minutes. You can use a soft bristled toothbrush to help you get into tight spaces. Rinse and pat completely dry.
Store pieces to last forever. Storing your jewelry when you aren’t wearing them can make a world of a difference. Storing them in a jewelry box or an air tight container can make a world of a difference to keep your jewels safe.
