What you’ll need: sewing measuring tape (or string and tape measure)

Instructions:

Stand in front of a mirror. Wrap the measuring tape around you like a necklace with one end to the front of you.
Use the end to move up and down the long side of the measuring tape to figure out where you would like your necklace to lay on you.
Figure out if you need an additional chain extender for layering.
